Bucket Beats Mission Minute

At the Foundation, we believe the best way to impact students is to support our educators and help make their big dreams a reality. Through our grant program, teachers and staff can fund creative projects to address the specific needs of their students. Blake Busch, the music teacher at Greenbriar Elementary School, did just that with his innovative Bucket Beats program. Check out the video above to learn more.

A community is more than the place you live; it’s the people who surround you, support you, and whom you support in kind. Few other programs exemplify this spirit quite like the new Greenbriar Elementary garden.

In raised planter beds built by J. Everett Light Career Center construction students, the Greenbriar community will grow an assortment of vegetables, not only for students and families facing food insecurity, but also for use by the JEL culinary program. Click the link below to learn more.

BASH Raises More than $110,000 for Washington Township Schools

The numbers are in: BASH '24 raised more than $110,000! All proceeds from this record-breaking event will benefit the students and staff of Washington Township Schools, and we couldn't have done it without you. A huge thank you to all our vendors, volunteers, sponsors, silent auction donors and everyone who attended for making this possible. 2025 SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarship applications are open for the North Central graduating class of 2025! Click here to learn more and apply. All applications are due February 15, 2025.

HONORED SCHOOLS: The Honored Schools Program is a great way to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of our Washington Township teachers. Nominate a teacher for the Life-Changing Teacher Award now through April 15, 2025 at HonoredSchools.org. 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ALUMNI CAREER EXPO: NCHS will be holding Alumni Career Expos to meet a state requirement that all juniors and seniors complete a Career Discovery Meeting (CDM). CDMs are meetings between an outside facilitator (you!) and a group of no more than five juniors and/or seniors. All interested alumni can learn more here.

SAVE THE DATE FOR  ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT NIGHT: Join us on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 6 - 8 p.m. for Alumni Achievement Night! We will honor and celebrate the 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees, Ten Under Ten Young Alumni Leaders and Scholarship Recipients. More information to come.

NCHS TOURS: Do you have a child almost ready for high school? We are proud to offer tours of North Central to prospective students and families on Wednesdays and Thursdays this school year. Tours will run from 9:30 - 11 a.m. Click here to sign up!
