Finding the Rhythm with Bucket Beats
At the Foundation, we believe the best way to impact students is to support our educators and help make their big dreams a reality. Through our grant program, teachers and staff can fund creative projects to address the specific needs of their students. Blake Busch, the music teacher at Greenbriar Elementary School, did just that with his innovative Bucket Beats program.
Blake believed incorporating buckets into his music classroom would be a creative way to get his students engaged, moving and— most importantly—learning. But cost was a barrier to entry.
Thanks to our donors, the Foundation was able to provide an initial $2,500 grant to purchase buckets, drumsticks and other materials needed to jumpstart this innovative program. And funding for Bucket Beats would only grow from there.
