| At Fox Hill Elementary, fifth grade teachers are igniting curiosity one rocket launch at a time.
Thanks to a grant awarded to fifth-grade teacher Elizabeth LeBlanc, students are diving into an exciting, hands-on STEM experience powered by Estes model rockets. This immersive project, Soaring to Science, brings engineering, physics, and inquiry-based learning to life for all 120 fifth-grade students at Fox Hill, supported by a team of five dedicated teachers. |

Back to School Bash is an event designed to provide services, resources and overall support to our Washington Township area families as they embark on a new school year. It is also a summer end celebration filled with food and fun for all ages to enjoy. At this event, your child can receive a dental screening, vision screening, sports physical, hygiene kits, essential clothing, books, participate in fun and games, and so much more! |

| Creativity meets discovery at Learning Under the Sun |
A staple in our community since 1985, Learning Under the Sun continues to grow stronger each year thanks to generous support from partners like the Scientech Foundation. This year, campers experienced unforgettable field trips to some of Indiana’s top destinations, including Marengo Cave, Newfields, Wolf Park, Butler University, and Mounds State Park. |

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH Saturday, August 1, 2026 Jordan YMCA | 9-11:30 a.m.
Join us as we help local students and families prepare for the upcoming school year! The Back to School Bash provides free backpacks, clothing, hygiene kits, sports physicals, dental and vision exams, school resources, food, games, and more for preschool through high school students. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for families and helping ensure every child starts the school year equipped and encouraged. Learn more and sign up here.

CLASSROOM GRANTS UPDATE: Thanks to the generous support of our annual fund donors, WTSF awarded nearly $147,000 worth of grants during the 2025-2026 school year. Your gifts allow educators to provide unique educational opportunities that would not otherwise be possible for our students. Become a donor to support our teachers as they apply for Fall Grants. Teachers can apply here through August 25th.
