BASH’26 Student Sticker Design Challenge
BASH is the Foundation’s signature event that supports all 11,000+ students in our district. This year, we are moving to a new, exciting venue: Windward Hall at the historic Factory Arts District. We are leaning into the venue’s history and focusing on the 3 pillars of the Foundation (Grants, Scholarships, Programs), with a heavy emphasis on IMAGINATION and THE ARTS (both visual and performing).
“The Art of Community” means showing how art brings us together. It can represent performing arts (like music, dance, and theater), visual arts (painting, digital, sculpting), or simply how we connect as North Central Panthers.
Your mission: Design a piece of art that can be turned into a real, physical sticker! Up to seven winning designs will be selected from different grade levels to be featured on a custom sticker sheet attached to our BASH ’26 invitation postcard.
- CREATIVITY! Use any medium you love: crayons, colored pencils, markers, digital tools, acrylic paint, watercolor, collage, oil pastels, digital or graphic design. We want to see a full range of different art styles!
- READABILITY. The final sticker needs to be recognizable, even when it is very small. Keep your design simple, bold, and clear. Designs with too much tiny detail will get lost when printed at a small size.
- CONNECTION. Show us what “The Art of Community” means to you!
- A NOTE ON AUTHENTIC CREATIVITY: This contest is about celebrating YOUR imagination. Submissions must be the original, student-created work of the applicant. Submissions created, assisted, or generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) imagery tools are not permitted and will be disqualified.
- SIZE MATTERS: Submit your artwork in a high-resolution format. While your original art can be large, you must ensure it is bold and clear enough to be readable if shrunken down to 1″ x 1″ (about the size of a quarter).
- SHAPE IS UP TO YOU: You do not need to draw a circle, square, or rectangle boundary. We are using “die-cut” stickers, which means the printer will cut the final sticker outline exactly around your artwork’s border.
- BOLD COLORS & LINES: Because of the small final size, high-contrast colors and bold outlines translate best for sticker printing. Subtle gradients or very fine pencil work may not reproduce well.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
- All entries must be submitted through our official online form.
- Digital entries must be high-resolution (300 DPI). Accepted formats: .PNG, .JPEG, .EPS, or .PDF. (High-res scans of physical artwork are accepted).
- All entries must include the artist’s full name, grade level, and school.

No. We want to see your unique perspective! While you can incorporate elements like the Panther logo, school colors, or artistic tools (paintbrushes, musical notes, etc.), your design should reflect what “The Art of Community” means to you.
No. You do not need to draw a shape boundary. The stickers will be “die-cut,” which means the final sticker outline will be custom-cut precisely around the border of your actual artwork.
We encourage a wide range of styles! You can use crayons, colored pencils, markers, digital art software (like Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop), acrylic or watercolor paint, oil pastels, or collage. The key is to make it bold and clear.
No. The BASH ’26 Design Challenge is a celebration of the unique creativity and imagination of our Washington Township students. All entries must be the completely original work of the student applicant.
This means you cannot submit images that were generated, modified, or assisted by AI image-generation software (such as Midjourney, DALL-E, or the AI features in some photo editing apps).
Any submission found to use AI will be immediately disqualified. We want to see what YOU can do!
Your final sticker will be reproduced at a small size, approximately 1” x 1” (about the size of a quarter). This means your design should be simple, bold, and have high contrast. Avoid subtle gradients, fine pencil work, or tiny, intricate details, as they may not print well at that small size.

For Digital Art: Submit a high-resolution file (at least 300 DPI) in PNG, JPEG, EPS, or PDF format.

For Physical Art: Take a high-quality photo or make a high-resolution scan of your creation and upload it through the same form. Ensure the lighting is good and the art is flat.
A panel of judges, including local community members and representatives from the WTS Foundation, will review all submissions. Designs will be evaluated on creativity, relevance to the theme “The Art of Community,” and readability at the final sticker size (1”). We will select seven winning designs representing a range of grade levels across the district.
Winners will be notified by Sept 2, 2026. Due to the high volume of entries, we are unable to provide individual feedback to all participants.
Winning designs will be featured on a custom sticker sheet attached to the official BASH ’26 promotion postcard, which will be distributed throughout the community. The Washington Township Schools Foundation will have the right to reproduce and use the winning artwork in materials promoting the event.
BASH ’26 is an adults-only event (21+). However, your creativity will be the star of the night! While students cannot attend the main event, your sticker will be on full display to over 300 attendees. Every guest will receive your design on their invitation and see a special exhibit honoring the winning artists. We will make sure you receive a commemorative set of the final printed stickers and postcard to keep!
