Alumni Spotlight: Reunion Support

The Washington Township Schools Foundation proudly supports our Alumni community of over 50,000 North Central graduates through reunion planning, honoring alumni, and helping our Panther community stay connected. 

Each year, The Foundation hosts a Reunion Kickoff Meeting, bringing together representatives from multiple graduating classes. This meeting fosters collaboration, idea-sharing, and direct access to the Director of Alumni, who answers questions and offers personalized guidance. Each member of the committee has access to the Reunion Planning Guide available on the Foundation website. This guide provides a list of recommended vendors and venues, along with valuable advice to simplify logistics and ensure consistency across reunions.

The Foundation maintains an alumni database with contact information like email addresses and phone numbers, as well as physical addresses. Once a date and location have been chosen, The Foundation provides postcard invitations that are mailed to every class member in our database. The reunion event information is added to the Foundation’s Alumni Center website, where alumni can RSVP and purchase their tickets online.

The Foundation hosts an annual Tailgate event during Homecoming. Many committees choose for their reunions to coincide with this weekend and take advantage of events that can get people back on campus. During reunion weekend, the foundation guides groups of up to 150 alumni through the familiar corridors of North Central High School, offering nostalgic tours of their classrooms and practice spaces. Many times a Washington Township Schools Foundation staff member or alumni committee member works to attend reunions.

Whether alumni are 10 years out and planning their first reunion, or need reinforcements for their 50th, the Washington Township Schools Foundation helps reunion planning committees maximize their turnout and enhance their North Central High School reunion experience.
