Q&A

What are you up to now?

I currently work in a pharmacy leadership role at Riley Hospital for Children. I returned to Indianapolis last July after spending 17 years in Charlotte, NC, where I built my pharmacy career. In 2025, I founded a non-profit called Ruthella’s Touch in honor of my grandmother. Our mission is to empower individuals experiencing homelessness by providing spiritual nourishment, recreation, and resources to restore dignity, build self-esteem, and foster well-being for a brighter future.

I am passionate about mentorship and serve on the the NCHS Alumni committee. Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with my family, and exploring new restaurants. I’m especially excited for my 10-day European cruise this summer!

How did North Central Shape who you are today?

North Central shaped me by giving me the space and support to explore who I wanted to become. It exposed me to different career paths, challenged me to think bigger, and helped me discover what I’m passionate about. The teachers and opportunities there pushed me to grow, not just academically but as a person, and they prepared me to step confidently into the real world. Because of North Central, I left feeling capable, well‑rounded, and ready for whatever came next.
