Q&A
What are you up to now?
I’m proud to have lived and taught in Washington Township as an art educator for 26 years. Nearly half of those years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving students in my own neighborhood which gives me a beautiful sense of community connection. I love crossing paths with past and present students when I’m out and about. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, dabbling in interior design, gardening, and relaxing on the water at Lake Monroe.
How did your time at North Central shape who you are today?
WHAT IS your favorite memory from North Central?
Armed with a hammer, chisel and safety goggles, I vividly remember carving a figure from stone in Mr. Howell’s sculpture class. We also went to Nashville Alps Ski Area and competed in a snow sculpture contest. While our giant Loch Ness monster didn’t take home a prize, we enjoyed exploring this winter art form!
